MEET KAT CLAYTON
Kat radiates warmth, energy, and encouragement the moment you step onto the mat. With 20+ years of yoga experience and deep studies in yoga philosophy, anatomy, neuroscience, and psychology, she guides her students with softness and strength — a compassionate approach while also breaking down more challenging postures, to help students connect, grow, and deepen their practice.
A Mum of two and avid nature lover, Kat finds joy and inspiration in hiking, travelling, teaching, and connecting with others.
Based in Sydney, Australia, Kat facilitates Yoga & Meditation retreats (locally and internationally), Workshops, Yoga Teacher Trainings, and brings wisdom, clarity, and a spark of joy to every class.
Her teachings empower you to strengthen your body, calm your mind, and deepen your practice, creating transformation that flows far beyond the mat.
A TEACHER OF YOGA TEACHERS

Kat brings a wealth of knowledge and facilitation experience. Since 2007, she has taught yoga, workshops, and teacher trainings in Sydney, guiding hundreds of teachers as a Teacher Training Facilitator for some of Australia’s most respected studios, including Power Living, BodyMindLife, and Modern Movement.
She loves helping others discover a path to a life they love — supporting everyone from beginners to advanced practitioners and aspiring teachers alike.
Yoga is not only a way to move your body. Yoga shapes how we think and act; it ignites power within the body, connection in the heart and stillness in the mind.
Yoga gives us the tools of self awareness and empowerment – and removes the obstacles in order to connect, inspire, love and live your best life.

‘The success of Yoga does not lie in the ability to perform postures but in how it positively changes the way we live our life and our relationships.’

COMMON QUESTIONS
Common Q’s: “I cant do yoga – I can’t touch my toes!”… “Can you teach me to do a handstand?”
Yes, absolutely! I love helping make the impossible possible. Watching someone experience steadiness and lightness in a new posture is just a joy — seeing their strength and confidence spark and their face light up is priceless.
Working towards more challenging poses (like handstands or arm balances) strengthens not only our muscles, but our patience, persistence, humility, determination, resilience, compassion and focus.
Ultimately, it’s not just about achieving the pose — its about the journey of what you learn and who you become in the process. It’s about self discovery, moving through fears and perceived limitations, cultivating lightness & acceptance and building a tool kit to help you thrive on and off the mat.
“Yoga brings us more than just a strong healthy body and mind, it reminds us of who we really are, and brings clarity, vitality and joy to living a meaningful life.”
