FRIDAY (ARRIVAL DAY)
Afternoon – Arrival and check in from 2pm. Light snacks & refreshments will be provided upon arrival
Welcome Yoga Practice – to stretch out and settle in for the evening
Evening – A delicious vegetarian home-cooked dinner
Yoga Practice – Yoga practice and breath work (pranayama)
Breakfast – Enjoy a delicious & nutritious breakfast
Bush Walk / Free Time – Take a bush walk or enjoy free time to relax & soak in the spectacular scenery of the Blue Mountains
Lunch made with fresh ingredients (often straight from the garden veggie patch!)

Yoga is a holistic practice of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Each day you will be guided in yoga practices designed to help you feel revitalized and nourished.
Our group practices will take place in the purpose built Yoga Shala or out in beautiful nature. All practices and activities are 100% optional – this is your time to relax and renew.
Explore a variety of yoga practices like breath work and chanting, and yogic philosophy. Expand your knowledge of yoga & connect more deeply to your true nature, heart, mind and body.
Our wonderful retreat hosts & chef, Jeff and Andy take great pride in preparing delicious and nutritious cuisine made with fresh local and seasonal produce – much of which is grown onsite from the property’s own organic veggie garden and orchard.
Meals will be vegetarian – all dietary preferences, including gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan can easily be catered for.
This retreat is all about nourishing, re-balancing from our busy lives. We will experience practices, meditations and breathing techniques which help you reconnect.
The word yoga means Union. There’s no better place to feel a deep sense of connection, wonder and one-ness than immersed in Yoga surrounded by nature, on a stroll through the gardens, or bush walk through the breathtaking valley.
Vanam Eco Retreat Space
This beautiful property is located in Mount Victoria in the heart of the Blue Mountains – situated on 40 acres of native bushland. It is also home to the owner’s 3 dogs and a wide variety of native birds, plants and wild life.
The contemporary, hand-crafted accommodations & yoga shala were purpose built with natural materials including straw bales, cob, recycled timbers and earthen renders using ancient building principles applied in a modern context.
The main house includes 3 large shared guest bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and outdoor deck. It also features a modern kitchen and a spacious, open-plan indoor-outdoor living/dining room. There are 2 self contained bungalows in the garden made from recycled shipping containers. Guest have exclusive use of their spacious bedrooms, ensuites and private deck, and share the common lounge and dining spaces.
Vanam also features a purpose built yoga shala nestled in the trees, a solar-powered hot spa, and beautifully cultivated edible and ornamental gardens.
Location is in Mount Victoria in the Blue Mountains area (90 min drive from Sydney). Public transport is readily available. We are happy to organise complimentary transportation to pick you up, or drop you off at the local train station, Mount Victoria (conveniently located just 3 minutes drive away).

What to do on your free time
In addition to the twice daily yoga & meditation, in your free time there is plenty to do: bush walks, taking a stroll in the garden, or find a cozy nook to read a book.
A massage therapist is available onsite to pamper and nourish your body (at an additional cost) and optional afternoon activities will be offered.
Yoga Workshop will help you deepen your practice and learn more about yoga and embody daily yoga practices. Explore various aspects of coming back to your centre and resting down to soothe and balance your nervous system, mind and body.
There are also plenty of hiking trails and a hot tub & cold water billabong on site, so if your feeling adventurous: bring your hiking boots and bathing suit!

REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY
Full payment (or a minimum deposit) is required to secure your place. Your deposit or payment in full confirms your booking.
Deposits are 100% non-refundable. However, may be transferred to another retreat with appropriate notice given. Full payment is required 60 days prior to the retreat start date.
This retreat will be held in accordance with current NSW government regulations.
Appropriate measures will be taken for social distancing in accommodation & mat spacing in the yoga shala (practice room) – to ensure it is a safe & enjoyable experience for all.
